Dedicated 2-Way Messaging - Send and Receive SMS/MMS

Aerialink Dedicated Mobile Numbers allow you to send and receive SMS/MMS. Your customers can send SMS/MMS messages directly to your application from their mobile phone.

Aerialink will provide you with a dedicated SMSC account that you can access via SMPP or HTTP protocols to send and/or receive SMS/MMS messages through the Aerialink Network Gateway. Your SMSC account will be configured with your "Short Code" or dedicated "Long Code" mobile number. With a "Long Code" mobile number, i.e. 10 digits, you will be able to communicate with almost any user on any network, unlike the limitations of "Short Codes" which cannot communicate with all networks. However, "Short Codes" have an advantage of the easy to remember number.

The Dedicated Two-Way Messaging service does require that you purchase a dedicated "Long Code" or Short Code" number for each SMSC account that you setup. Aerialink will assist you in completing these steps.
