Bring Your Own Number (BYON)

Bring your own U.S. or Canadian toll-free or standard landline number and we will text-enable it for you. You can keep your existing voice provider while Aerialink provides your messaging.

Toll-free (8XX) Numbers

Ten-digit U.S. and Canadian prefixes including 800, 833 (new!), 844, 855, 866, 877, and 888 are used primarily for service-based messaging such as alerts, notifications, reminders, status updates, one-time passwords and conversational messaging. You can lease a toll-free number from Aerialink or BYON.

This industry term refers to ten-digit U.S. and Canadian standard numbers (non-toll-free) used primarily for conversational messaging. You can lease a long code from Aerialink or BYON. U.S. and Canadian long codes support global SMS delivery.

Short Codes (U.S. & Canada)

Carrier-certified five-or-six-digit U.S. and Canadian short codes support all use cases, including bulk marketing. Each short code is certified within its respective country for delivery to mobile subscribers within that same country. Your short code can be dedicated or shared, vanity or random – lease a short code through Aerialink or migrate your existing short code to us.

International Local Numbers

Localized numbers can support message delivery to a specific country. Number options such as long codes, dedicated short codes and shared short codes vary by country. Use international short codes for high volume delivery and long codes for conversational messaging.

International Sender ID

You can brand your international messaging with an alphanumeric sender ID up to fifteen characters in length. Sender IDs run on a high-volume, outbound-only message route.
